Unite for Success Scholarship Program

What is Unite for Success?

The Unite for Success Scholarship Program recognizes area students for their excellence in high school and encourages continued success in post-secondary institutions.

The Chamber’s scholarship program for area high school graduates has grown tremendously over the past 27 years. In 1978 six sponsors contributed $1,400. In 2006, 18 businesses and individuals contributed over $40,775.

The Chamber of Commerce believes the business and education communities must partner to build a successful future for the greater St. Cloud area. Contributions are awarded each spring in 22 area high schools. A business can, however, award a scholarship to a student at any school.

Businesses awarding scholarships receive a Personalized Scholarship Outline. Using this form, the business can specify the school(s) where the scholarship should be awarded and the scholarship qualifications. Qualifications can be tailored by the donor company and might include merit, grade point average, community involvement, leadership, need or any other criteria.

You can make a difference in the opportunities available to area high school seniors. Join with other Chamber members to provide financial resources for post-secondary educational experiences for our area youth. After all, they are our future leaders!

All contributions for the Unite for Success Scholarship Program are designated through the Central Minnesota Community Foundation, a non-profit, public foundation. One hundred percent of the contribution is given to the student. All contributions will be recognized equally on the certificate awarded to the student.
